10:00AM KST
Quiet Hongdae Streets, cold morning, empty bottles. I was alone, enjoying the morning walk, feeling the cold, calm breeze... Footsteps were barely heard. "Ah, it's just me Seoul", I said to myself. I loved the silence, loved it to the point I wasn't minding the rain's drizzling.
*a drop of rain fell on my head* "This won't be a heavy rain, I can manage." *another drop fell on my hand* ... *then on my arm* ... *then it rained hard, really hard* I was sprinting my way to the nearest store and cold, wet feet brought me to Dunkin Donuts. There were so many flavors, I was overwhelmed I forgot to take photos LOL!
I want to go back to our room already but the rain hasn't stopped yet, that's why I decided to visit Watsons to check if they are selling umbrellas. Upon entering the store, my eyes were attracted to the snack section and with a blink of an eye, I was already putting down the snacks at the counter. And it was not just two to three snacks, I think I bought more than 10 and in total, I paid for 25,000₩ (Php 1,017).
I was so happy walking out of Watsons, HAHAHA! And sometimes, me being too happy is not a good thing especially to my wallet, LOL! It was still raining when I wen out, so why not do more shopping besides next to Watsons is Skinfood. Let the ₩ pour out more!!! ₩₩ ₩ ₩ ₩ ₩!!! Skinfood in Korea is way way wayyyyyy cheaper than back in the Philippines (PH), most items cost less than half the price in PH. I only bought 6 Black Sugar Scrub Foam which only costs 7,250₩ (Php 295)/piece. After Skinfood, my adult self told me that I still have a lot of days to go in Seoul and I don't want to burn a lot ₩ this morning. So I went back to our room. *grins*
Pardon if I don't have photos of the items I bought, I usually forgot to take photos everytime I shop. Shopping is a serious business for me. HAHAHA!
I don't know what's with Myeongdong but our group keeps coming back to that place (especially the Babehs: Kristen & Gian).
*If you're already at the green line (like us who stays in Hongdae, it's better to go down at Euljiro 3(sam)-ga Station than switch to the Blue line for Myeongdong Station* |
*Okay? Okay. :'(* |
We had our lunch at a small restaurant in Myeondong which serves different kinds of *insert big voice* TONKATSU.
I'm not really adventurous when it comes to the food that I eat so I just ordered the plain Tonkatsu Curry which only costs 7,500₩ (Php 305).
